About the event

Carl R. Trueman will be the speaker at this year’s Center for Christian Studies – First Things Lecture in Austin.  Trueman is a professor of biblical and theological studies at Grove City College.  During this academic year, he has been Busch Family Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for Citizenship and Constitutional Government at the University of Notre Dame.  He is a contributing editor for First Things.  Trueman is also a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and a fellow of the Center for Christian Studies.  He is the author of many books, most recently of The Desecration of Man: How the Rejection of God Degrades Our Humanity.
