About the event

The Center for Christian Studies invites you to Table Talk, an evening of dinner and discussion on Saturday, February 18, at 7:00 pm.  Our discussion will be led by Dr. John Seago, president and legislative director of Texas Right to Life, and Ashley Leenerts, legislative associate with Texas Right to Life.

With the fall of Roe v. Wade, states are now free to pass whatever abortion law their state sees fit, yet there is still no federal law protecting unborn children from the horrors of abortion. Texas, however, was prepared for this moment and immediately made abortion illegal through the state’s pre-Roe laws with the single exception for the life of the mother. This is a victory, but the work of the Pro-Life movement is not over. Women and their children are in greater need than ever of compassionate resources, lawless abortion activists are shipping in abortion pills from across the world, and patients are facing having their life-sustaining treatment removed against their will without a reporting or appeal process—all here in Texas.

The discussion is intended for adults and teenagers—anyone who can listen and participate is welcome.

Dinner will be provided.  Please respond to the RSVP as soon as possible.  Spaces will be limited.
