"Glorify God with Your Body: Christian Sexual Ethics" now translated into Russian

As part of our ongoing effort to provide the best resources for churches and Christian leaders around the world, CCS is committed to providing these resources in many different languages.

We are excited to announce the release of a Russian translation of our video series, “Glorify God with Your Body: Christian Sexual Ethics,” written and presented by Dr. Keith D. Stanglin.  In this series, Keith discusses one of the most fraught and important topics of our time: What is God's design and purpose for human sexuality?

As Keith explains from the English course description,

For a host of reasons, many churches and Christian leaders are reluctant to teach about sexual morality. It is a sensitive topic, and addressing it can be awkward at best or controversial and even dangerous at worst. No one wants to cause unnecessary offense, so, instead of walking on eggshells, it seems easier to avoid the area altogether.

But sexuality is a central element of human experience, and the gospel brings "good news" about human sexuality—reminding us of the beauty of human sexuality when practiced as in keeping with how our Creator designed us. We therefore do our fellow Christians and our children a disservice by ignoring this important subject. At the same time, it's hard to find a trustworthy resource that teaches about Christian sexuality in a way that is biblically faithful and understandable.

This course is designed to equip Christians to think positively about sexuality and to address the challenges raised by our present culture. Like CCS's other videos, it can be used in church adult or youth classes, as well as in small group discussions or by individuals and their families.

Like all our video series, this Russian version comes with a Russian-language course study guide that suggests Bible readings and includes discussion questions for each episode. 

This new series is available to all churches that are subscribed to the premium video subscriptions, which gives full access for all church members to the entire catalogue of Center for Christian Studies videos.

This series is the first of many we hope to release in Russian translation.
