When the World Goes Dark: Living in Grief

Since its publication, we have laid to rest my beloved grandmother, both of my fathers-in-law, and most recently my father—my best friend—this past October (2022), after a long and very difficult struggle with prostate cancer. The experience of loss to a long and difficult illness has led to some revision, but in large part the post is the same.
